This place is a real culinary treasure. The food is beyond good. Their pork belly sandwich is the best thing I've ever eaten, no exaggeration. All of the ingredients are superbly paired to make an amazing eating experience. Today I had an Arthur Avenue with fries and it was SO good. The mustard on the sandwich put it in a whole other league and the fries were absolutely perfect. The staff is wonderful as well. I made myself save half so the experience wouldn't end so soon! If I could give them 10 stars I would.

This place is solid gold! If you are willing to something a little different, your tastebuds will be rewarded. I was a fan of theirs when they were in Scranton, and I am just as much a fan now. I am never nervous to try anything on his menu because everything I have ever had is like a flavor bomb in my mouth even when I am not familiar with the description. Plus they sell awesome products from other small businesses. They are genuinely good people with delicious dishes! So glad they are more local to me now. 10/10

I loved Peculiar when they were in downtown Scranton and I still love them at their new location! The food is always AMAZING, complex, flavorful and filling. The chef who is the owner, puts so much passion into his dishes, and it reflects directly in the resulting happiness after a bite of their food. You could fool me and many others if you told me that the chef was a Japanese/Korean Chef of 40 years. This is a place you go out of your way for and return too. I know I will! Important note: They posted an ad on Instagram saying their 5th course of their dinner was a hug. The chef CAME OUT AND HUGGED ME. Made my day. 100/10.
