I loved Peculiar when they were in downtown Scranton and I still love them at their new location! The food is always AMAZING, complex, flavorful and filling. The chef who is the owner, puts so much passion into his dishes, and it reflects directly in the resulting happiness after a bite of their food. You could fool me and many others if you told me that the chef was a Japanese/Korean Chef of 40 years. This is a place you go out of your way for and return too. I know I will! Important note: They posted an ad on Instagram saying their 5th course of their dinner was a hug. The chef CAME OUT AND HUGGED ME. Made my day. 100/10.
